Kamila will remain as Director of Finance after re-election at the Spring General Assembly in Sheffield, making this her second term on National Committee
“I am very excited to be continuing on in my role as Director of Finance for another academic year. I have loved every minute of my time on National Committee over the past year and am very excited to continue the exciting projects that we have started. This year, I’m hoping to focus on opening and operating our brand new merchandise shop (watch this space!) and also to continue streamlining our financial management system. I’m on the lookout for any enthusiastic people within the network who would enjoy working on increasing our sponsorship reach and/or improving our financial organisation with me (no prior experience necessary). The Finance Director oversees both the day-to-day financial management, as well as fundraising operations for SfGH.
Bylaw mandated responsibilities:
1.4.8. Director of Finance
22.214.171.124. Be responsible for the financial administration and bookkeeping of Students for Global Health.
126.96.36.199. Raise funds for Students for Global Health and consider the recruitment of a team to support and assist in doing this.
188.8.131.52. Collect membership fees.
184.108.40.206. Be responsible for the bank accounts of Students for Global Health.
220.127.116.11. Present a financial report at each National Committee Meeting, which includes accounts, statements of assets and liabilities of Students for Global Health and a list of the financial transfers made since the last National Committee Meeting.
18.104.22.168. Arrange the payment of registration fees and any bank transfers to the IFMSA for affiliation and IFMSA General Assembly delegation registration within the set deadlines.
