UN International Days

UN International Days Campaign Plan 2020/21

Students for Global health are pleased to announce our campaign plan for a selected number of United Nations (UN) International Days, which we will be working on over the next year. These international days will form a key component of our policy and advocacy efforts, and each day will have a devoted mini-campaign.

The selected UN International Days for this year!

Guidance for branches and members:

  • Each UN International Day has a dedicated team from the National Committee, who will be sending our resources and campaign plans to branch emails in plenty of time before each UN day.
  • We would love branches and members to come up with their own ideas, adapt the resources we send out, and implement awareness raising and advocacy in their branches for as many UN days as possible!
  • If you have ideas for the kinds of mini-campaigns you think we should be organising, questions about your work at the branch level, or would like to help out, please email Rhiannon at pad@studentsforglobalhealth.org to discuss your ideas.

Does your organisation want to collaborate with us on any of these days? Just get in touch at pad@studentsforglobalhealth.org – we’d love to hear from you!

Celebrating the days!

World Mental Health Day

Thank you for joining our activities to celebrate World Mental Health Day on October the 10th!

First up, we had a ‘tea and talk’, to discuss what SfGH can do for its members and in its advocacy to promote mental health worldwide. Here is what we found out from the session! We’ve got lots to think about – and please get in touch if you have more ideas.

Online Webinar Event!

Register to attend online sessions throughout the week from October 10th!
