Midlands Regional Coordinator

Yousrah Uraiby

Hi all! I’m Yousrah and I am this year’s regional co-ordinator for the Midlands. I’m a 4th year medical student at Keele and have always been passionate about Global Health, so am very excited and grateful to have a role alongside the brilliant SfGH national committee and look forward to a fantastic year ahead!

My role will involve connecting and communicating with branches in the Midlands area and engaging students in the vital work of SfGH. I’m particularly interested in investigating health inequalities due to factors such as social deprivation, race and gender on local and global scale, and sharing ideas with students and professionals in the region on how we can tackle these important issues. I look forward to meeting members from the midlands and beyond this year!
