Hello! I am the incoming Grants Officer. This is a new position that has opened up this year so I feel very excited to be the first ever Grants Officer. My goals for this year include setting up a solid foundation and series of structures for future Grants Officers. I wish to ensure that the position is well defined and ready for whoever will be taking over. I will also be managing pre-existing and incoming grants and am very excited for the opportunity to also secure some new opportunities. I am an SfGH UK newbie though I have been doing my fair share as part of SfGH UCL. Global Health has always been something I’ve been passionate about (cringe I know), though my interests lie more specifically in the anthropological approaches. I hope I can take my experiences as an anthropologist, medical student and global health student to find creative financial solutions in line with the principles of the organisation.
