Eniola Olabode

Hello hello! My name is Eniola Olabode (but you can call me Eni), and I am the Public Relations and Communication Director for the 2025/26. I am so excited for what this year will bring!
If I could summarise what my role as the Director of Public Relations and Communications is in a few words, it would be this – I ensure all opportunities available for students and the wonderful work we are doing at Students for Global Health are shared with our amazing members and the general public. This is really important to me as I believe an important aspect of global health is education – to educate, you need to be able to communicate. As someone who considers themselves to be a creative person, I enjoy looking for new ways to communicate generic ideas and sometimes complex scientific jargon into a form people can understand and appreciate. So if you see any weird and wonderful posts on our Instagram, chances are I am behind them!
So what does this mean for you? – If you get the chance to attend one of our events, I will most likely be holding a camera and coming up to you to ask for a picture or a few words (sorry, not sorry! :)). If you are also interested in writing for our blog, this can be anything related to global health, from fun content such as a Day In the Life pieces to more serious topics like dissecting newly published policies. Please get in touch with me by emailing the email address above.
I’m looking forward to having fun in this role, growing and learning more about Global Health and enjoying the journey with my fellow committee members.
