Hi everyone, my name is Leckhna Paras Chajed, and I am the National Director for Students for Global Health. My role involves overseeing and supporting all members of the National Committee, including organising weekly meetings and regular in-person training weekends, as well as national events for members. I act as the representative for SfGH at external events and work closely with our board of trustees and external partners to ensure that we continue to further the aims and visions of our charity.

I really love this role as it gives me the opportunity to meet so many incredible people nationally and internationally, doing inspiring work in the field of global health. In addition, it allows me to bring together passionate individuals to create real, tangible change in our communities. This year, I am really looking forward to meeting more of our members and branch committees in person, at your local and national events. I am also hoping to offer our network more opportunities to develop their knowledge and soft skills in a variety of topics, and work on developing the sustainability of our network, so we can continue expanding our capacity for change.
