Students for Global Health hosts 1-2 day regional training days at the beginning of each year. This year all 5 regions are organising one. See below to find out when your region’s is, and how to get involved!
Northern Regional Training Weekend
The Northern Regional Training Weekend will be taking place on the 17th-18th February in Newcastle. We are looking for trainers and supervisors for the following sessions:
Social media/comms for established branches (2hrs)
SFGH basics/setting up a branch for new branches (2hrs)
Short course how-to (1hr 15)
Advocacy and campaigns (2 hrs)
Leadership (2 hrs)
If you’d like to deliver training or graduate from TNT here then get in touch. I can help you by providing resources if you’re covering a session you’ve never done before!
Scotland and Northern Ireland
When: 17th March 10am-6pm
Where: St Andrew’s University
The day will involve different training sessions and workshops which will be planned according to what you and your branches would like! This will be an opportunity to reflect on different ways of working better as a region, committee, as well as individuals. There will be an opportunity to discuss any issues that you/your branch are having and to talk about this as a wider network. This will be a fab chance to meet and get to know people from our region and it should be a lot of fun including the social in the evening!!
Let us know if you have any questions about this either on here or email Emma, the Scotland and Northern Ireland Regional Coordinator at email@example.com.
There will be a small charge for the day so that we’re able to provide lunch and coffee breaks! We will let you know how much this is ASAP.
Apply here. Deadline for applications: 24th February 2018.
